The Area
NorthShore GuestHouse, in business since 2004, is located less than one mile from the Marion Reservoir and is in the Flint Hills region of Kansas. We surrounded by Wildlife and Parks property with over 6,000 acres for public use. Hunting, fishing, water sports, bird watching, hiking, and bicycling are some of the activities you can enjoy in our area. Come on out and enjoy the quiet country landscape on the deck or around the fire ring in the back acreage.
Since we are in a rural area be advised that you will have to travel on three miles of gravel roads to get here.

Located less than one mile from the Marion Reservoir, NorthShore GuestHouse provides lodging to only one party at a time, with your friendly hosts next door. Since NorthShore is barely visible from the host house, guest privacy is assured.
NorthShore GuestHouse is a 1400 square foot bungalow with a deck overlooking the park lands.

The kitchen, which has a sunny eastern exposure is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, coffee and tea, glasses, dish ware, and cooking utensils. An electric hook up for one RV is available which is rented only in conjunction with the house. An outside dog kennel and shelter is provided. Campfires are allowed in the fire ring located in the backyard. A large charcoal grill and lawn chairs are available for your use.

Check in at 4pm or by arrangement; Check out is at noon
Six people comfortably accommodated
If more than six people stay there will be an added surcharge of $65
If cancellations are made less than 24 hours in advance the first night of the reservation will be charged. After you check in the full amount of the stay is required and will not be refunded if you leave early.
Master Card & Visa accepted up to a maximum of $500 per stay.
If payment is made with a credit card there will be a 3.5% surcharge

The third Saturday in September is time for the famous Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Fair and Marion's Art in the Park. The only place in America where the historic Santa Fe Trail and the Chisholm Trail cross and is in Marion County! Be sure not to miss Chingawassa Days every first weekend of June in Marion and Old Settler's Day the last weekend in September. There is also a rich Mennonite heritage in Marion County. Hillsboro, the home of Tabor College, is called 'Little Jerusalem' by the Mennonites.
